Measurement sizes are approximate.  The free set of nose pads screws has the most common nose pad screw size and will fit most glasses, however, as there is no such thing as a "universal nose pad screw size" these screws will not fit all eye glass or sunglass frames.  In such cases, if your existing nose pads screws are useable, you may wish to use them.
